Since my diagnosis, I have never regained the feeling in my hands and fingers. My hands are still function; however, they always feel burnt, stiffness, tingling, and numbness. I have tried physical therapy and hand exercises, and yet these symptoms have persisted.
This article /https://www.everydayhealth.com/multiple-sclerosis/living-with/hand-exercises-multiple-sclerosis/ offers some exercises that help encourage movement and less stiffness in the fingers and general hand health.
I am reminded, once again, how much of our bodily function and health that we just assume will always work as designed. I do not take these functions and health for granted, but instead, I marvel at what I can still do often at a slower pace and with intention and purpose.
