Two Years In: What I know Today

The MS diagnosis helps one make priorites in life.

Being present provides focus.

Fatigue is real. So is my bed. Get in it, Girl!

Eat for fuel and for health.

Movement is needed, rain or shine. Just do it: WALK!

Appreciate those in your circle that support and care about you.

Take all medications on schedule even if the injection sites are lumpy and sore.

Just say no when you are feeling you need to rest. Our society tries to make us feel guilty. Don’t!

Do activities that bring joy; I bake, and I read, and I read, and I develop curriculum, and that makes me feel awesome.

Forgive yourself when you have a rough day.

Hugs are so beneficial. I like them especially if the hugger smells good. LOL!

Just remember: things could be worse. Today is practice for tomorrow. Live today and don’t think so much about tomorrow.
