“Nothing from nothing leaves nothing”

Inspired by Billy Preston’s lyrics, doing nothing somedays is the perfect prescription for my day or at least a part of it. That means I can really do nothing: no tasks, no chores, no appointments, no errors, no nothing! I used to feel guilty about having such down time; now, I see it as a relief and a time to recoup my health. Why? It brings me total relaxation, comfort, and recovery from the busy days of summer where we try to cram outside inside and friends and family together to make the most of each glimmer of sunlight.

When asked: “What are going to do today?”

I am happy and proud to say, “Nothing!” I actually mean it!
